Full Time Wrangler: We are seeking a Wrangler to serve our club members, working 35-40 hours, week days, some weekends and some holidays. This position has an early morning start time. The preferred candidate has their own car in order to assist with external dog-walking responsibilities.
Part Time Wrangler : We are seeking a Wrangler to serve our club members, working 20-30 hrs/wk. This position has a rotating schedule which includes some weekends and holidays. The preferred candidate has their own car in order to assist with external dog-walking responsibilities.
Wranglers share responsibilities within the indoor dog park, daycare and boarding services. Following Wrangler orientation and training, the preferred candidate is also willing to serve as Innkeeper one or two times each week for boarding dogs and to walk dogs .
Both positions involves a substantial amount of physical activity involving play and cleanup of dogs. A Wrangler must be able to lift 40+ pounds, have the ability to stand for 4-7 hours, have no sensitivity to a dog’s bodily fluids or dander, and are tolerant of noise, dog hair and drool.
All House of Ruff team members are required to take a pet CPR/First Aid class and attain MAST 12 Certification. Associated fees are reimbursed by House of Ruff upon completion.
