Part Time Wrangler : House of Ruff strives to provide its members excellent daycare and boarding service, an enjoyable indoor dog park experience, and an environmentally-friendly space where dogs and owners can socialize in our Ruff Lounge. We are seeking a Wrangler team member to serve our club members, working 20-30 hrs/wk. This position has a rotating schedule which may include some weekends and holidays. Wranglers share responsibilities within the indoor dog park, daycare and boarding services. Following Wrangler orientation and training, the preferred candidate is also willing to serve as Innkeeper one or two times each week for boarding dogs.
This position involves a substantial amount of physical activity involving play and cleanup of dogs. A Wrangler must be able to lift 40+ pounds, have the ability to stand for 4-7 hours, have no sensitivity to a dog’s bodily fluids or dander, and are tolerant of noise, dog hair and drool.
All House of Ruff team members are required to take a pet CPR/First Aid class and attain MAST 12 Certification. Associated fees are reimbursed by House of Ruff upon completion.
